Robin Jacobs

Robin Jacobs is a Teacher on Special Assignment with the Ventura Unified School District. In this capacity she serves as the Coordinator of the Ventura County Indian Education Consortium, a federally funded program which provides direct services to American Indian and Alaskan Native students in grades TK-12 in many of the Ventura County School Districts.

Robin has a BA from UC Davis, a multiple subject teaching credential and a bilingual certificate from Cal State Northridge, as well as a masters degree in Education from Azusa Pacific University. She spent the majority of her teaching career as a bilingual third grade teacher in Ventura Unified School District, and also worked as coordinator of a school based health center.
She is the mother of two grown daughters, and lives in Ventura with her husband, Marcos Vargas.
